Episode 86: Using your Frustration as Fuel

Today, I’m talking about a phrase that has been coming up a lot not only with my clients, but within my own business too: Righteous Frustration. When I say ‘righteous frustration’, I mean that space where you know you are meant for more, but you recognise that you are not there yet.

Being in this space can bring up a whole lot of feelings around ourselves and what is possible for us. It can put us in a victim space, where we believe that the things we want aren’t meant for ‘people like us’, and cause us to question our worth, work, and ambitions.

Tune in for tips on how to challenge those stories that get in the way when you’re reaching for more, like surrounding yourself with people that show you that it IS possible, accepting that your journey takes time, and using your frustration as the fuel it was meant to be.

QUOTES

“We can be grateful for the money we have and want more. One does not detract from the other”

“See your frustration for what it really is. Trust, understand and appreciate your frustration as evidence of what you were placed on this earth for. Your frustration is not proof that you are wrong.”

“In the business space, it doesn't exist that you can't do it. You just haven't found the angle yet. It might involve an almighty pivot, but I think we need to be open to all the different ways it might look."

“We make money in our space. That's where we make the easiest most sustainable money, is when we are acting in our strengths, in our zones of genius, in the spaces that fit us.”
